Which is better Star Wars or Star Trek?

First I loved Star Wars. Then The Next Generation came out, and I loved it (though I was, like, 7 at the time). Then Babylon 5 came out in . . . 94? I thought it was much better than Star Trek, but going into 1999 I was really enthusiastic about Star Wars again. I rewatched the original trilogy until I fell in love with it anew. Despite the prequels, I still liked Star Wars more until 2001.

In 2001, I started watching Farscape.

Farscape

It's the best adventure show I've ever seen.

Now, now. :p

Perhaps another comparing the worst of both series? Episode 1 vs. Search for Spock? If there were ever a double feature the theater would implode do to the sheer amount of suction.

The Auld Grump, a triple feature with Wing Commander?

You think Search for Spock was worse than The Final Frontier (Trek 5, the one with 'what does God need with a starship?')? That's shocking.

I felt Episode 3 was the worst of the prequels. Maybe it's because I've taught myself to zone out whenever kid Anakin or Jar-Jar were in Phantom Menace, so I was able to enjoy Darth Maul. And in 2 I actually only really despised kid Boba Fett. The rest of the movie was passable, even if there was no romance, but rather a stalking.

Of all the Star Trek movies, V is the one that's at the bottom of the list for me as well...I found I to be better than V.

Hey now, Wing Commander was a great submarine combat movie. That scene where they hide in front of the asteroid and speak very very quietly so the enemy won't hear them was brilliant. Good grief. :p
