Which movie matches your gaming style?

I would say I DM, a very Count of Monte Cristo (plotting is good)/Dark Crystal (mainly the visuals)/Record of Lodoss Wars/my own twisted imagination game.

Well, most of my game is own twisted imagination... but come to think of it, a lot of it is Records of Lodoss war. Lots of crushing onslaughts of armies, desperate journey by small bands of heroes through enchanted landscapes, etc.

I don't know. Whatever movie has lots of me making up stuff as I go along, lots of plot holes, lots of interesting things that are started and then dropped along the way, ending with the sudden inexplicable death of all of the major characters .... that's the one.

I would say that a majority of games are like that...well, except maybe Piratecat's. But he's been cybermodified to enhance his DMing ability. With all his mods, he's got, like, .1 Essence left.

Add to mine: The movie where the audience talks throughout the movie (and the characters talk back), the sequels are inconsistent in quality but the concession stand is top drawer all the way!

I attempt to DM on several different levels...

• The epic, world-spanning level of LOTR
• The symbology and personal character involvement of Ladyhawke
• The gritty realism and PC threatening terror of the 13th Warrior

I will have to send a couple of my players to this thread and see what they think!
