Which Published Settings Have You Played In?

First Post
Since we are sticking to D&D (TSR/WotC) settings, I can honestly say this.

In my time of gaming since 1975, I have played in...
  • Forgotten Realms
  • Tekumel/Empire of the Petal Throne
  • Eberron
  • Ravenloft

I have GM'd (which I do 80+% of the time)
  • none of the above

I simply prefer making my own settings...

MY list of settings I've played in is really small... Most of my gaming experience has been with other gamesor in Homebrew settings.

The D&D settings I have played in:

Greyhawk
Mystara (currently playing in)
Nentir Vale
Kingdoms of Kalamar
Scarred Lands
Freeport

D&D settings I would like to play in:

Birthright

D&D settings I am about to run in:

Nentir Vale

Non-D&D -
Rifts Earth, Glorantha, Pendragon, Warhammer, WH40K, Space: 1889, Amber, Feng Shui, Paranoia, 7th Sea, Al Amarja (Over The Edge), Call of Cthulhu/Delta Green, World of Darkness, Kult, Stormbringer, Hawkmoon, James Bond: 007, Top Secret, Traveller, DC universe, Marvel universe, Dragon Warriors, Maelstrom, SLA Industries, Nobilis, Gamma World, Star Trek, Star Wars, SkyRealms of Jorune, Middle Earth, the Buffy-verse

Some were just oneoffs, others were campaigns.

Here's a question - Where does the assumption that people only stick to one campaign setting come from?
Does such an assumption exist? Though perhaps you're asking the wrong question. Someone might have played/GMed in dozens of settings and yet do 95% of their gaming in one.

Played
Greyhawk (both using D&D and GURPS)
Forgotten Realms
Eberron
Banestorm
Pathfinder (powered by GURPS)
4E's Points of Light
Ptolus
Bum Fights (powered by GURPS)
Rifts
Dragon Age (using D&D 4E)*
Dragon Age (using GURPS)*

* I list these seperately because the mechanics of each game made the fluff of the setting feel completely different.

GMed
4E's Points of Light
Jerth
Ptolus
homebrews which mixed elements of the above settings
homebrews built from scratch

Here's a question - Where does the assumption that people only stick to one campaign setting come from?
If such as assumption exists, it may come from the multitudes of people not obsessive enough about the game to post on messageboards about it.

As to the OP, for me it's just DragonLance, Dark Sun, Kara-Tur, Al Qadim, and the Nentir Vale (since we seem to be including it). The great majority of the time it's a homebrew world.

Given that the OP is interested in 2e D&D settings, I am limiting my list to published Fantasy RPG Settings.

I have played in (i.e. played in more than a session or two in):
4e Points of Light (my home campaign largely uses the 4e PoL background)
Birthright/Cerilia
Eberron
Forgotten Realms
Greyhawk
Ravenloft
War of the Burning Sky

Sort of Played In (i.e. did a one shot or the like):
Mystara
Planescape
Rokugan
Warhammer

I have DMed:
4e Points of Light
Eberron
Forgotten Realms
Greyhawk
Warhammer
