Who says Persistent Spell has errata?

Just about every Google result has Persistent Spell as a +6 level metamagic, but my friend has it as printed in Tome & Blood as a +4 level. The D&D Errata Page doesn't have anything for Tome & Blood, and I understand the original reprinting at +6 was in a Fallen Realms sourcebook. So is there anything official-like online that will let me say "this has errata"? (The SRD has the feat at +6 as a Deity feat, but hey, that could be a completely different feat.)

As an aside, is the spell dangerous at +6 assuming you don't do any Divine Metamagic stuff? With no Improved Invisibility, no big deal, right?

So I should look in a changelist from 3.0 to 3.5? I haven't found one of those yet -- closest I've come is this explaining stuff like how Ogres take 4 squares instead of 1 and what happened to Animal Empathy.

Or are you saying Persistent Spell was never reprinted in 3.5 so it basically doesn't exist?

I personally think Persistent on its own is very broken. I also really don't like that the original spell duration doesn't matter at all, anything persisted becomes 24 hours.

I'm probably in the minority, but I don't think Divine Metamagic itself is so bad. I allow DMM and ban Persistent Spell. I would like to make up a new metamagic feat to replace it, one that increases the "step" of the duration to the next level. Round/level --> min/level --> 10 min/level --> hour/level. Possibly hour/level --> 24 hours --> day/level. Possibly add +5 rounds to durations of "concentration" or "concentration + x rounds." It would probably require Extend Spell and cost +2 levels, not sure if that's balanced, but it's the rough idea.

Thanks very much! "Player's Guide to Faerun" would not sound official to my player but Complete Arcane will be authoritative, and it was published in 2004. I'll use that. (I still think there should be a page detailing "superseding" changes from 3.0 to 3.5 -- maybe I'll find it in the archives of Dragon Magazine.)

NO you FOOL! If your group is going by the +4 LA for Persist, you should take that ruling and milk it for all it's worth!

(I jest.)

It was written that anything published in 3.0 and not reprinted in 3.5 could be used but it's sometimes difficult to find if it was (as you can see).
The better way is to say: We play 3.5, we use 3.5 material, 3.0 was a kind of Beta.
