For the next Bond, I thought of a couple not so damned uber-superstar actors who would be good.
Sean Bean was already a villain in a Bond flick, so this may disqualify him, but I've always thought that he'd make an awesome Bond after having seen some of his Sharpe movies.
Jason Isaacs, another guy who regularly plays villains, has the right look for Bond I think.
Either of them would be better than Clive Owen, IMO. Owen's just a bit too boring in most of the stuff I've seen him in.
I just don't get all the suggestions of Jude Law and Hugh Jackman that I see on websites. Taking on the role of James Bond tends to typecast you, and if an actor has already scored big elsewhere, chances are, they aren't going to want to take on the Bond role. IMO, that eliminates Law, Jackman, MacGregor, Grant, and all the other big name stars that are supposedly up for consideration.
