Who's running or playing in an Arcana Unearthed Game?

I have been running an AU/D&D hybrid homebrew for about 3 months now, and am having a blast. One thing that surprising to me, is almost everyone chose an AU class, even though 3/4 of my nine players are realtively new or brand new to role playing/D20. Something about the names and flavor descriptions really appealed to them,(and most made their characters w/o input from others).

The group is around 3 level)

Assaimar Champion of Freedom
Tiefling Mageblade
Spryte Magister
Litorian Unfettered/Paladin
Litorian Hawk Totem Warrior
Verrik Winterwitch
Verrik Rogue/Verrik racial class
Human Bard/Windwitch
Elven Druid

I'm doing my best to wrap my brain around his personality as he's going to wind up with a Wis of 20 and a Cha of 6. I'm open for suggestions there if anybody has any.
Having a low charisma doesn't neccessarily make a person annoying. He could just have an utter lack of charisma, the sort of person who fades into the background and no one pays attention to, no matter how hard he tries.

I would say that he is quiet and shy. He has great insights but he doesn't believe that his opinion matters as much as other peoples.

The grumpy low charisma guy is so common (and IMO a misjudgement) but the shy wise chap is far less commonly seen, and could make an interesting role-playing thread.
Hmm...Wis 20 and Cha 6. Holy crap! It's Silent Bob! Heh. Of course Jay has deficient stats in everything except Dexterity.

Also, I sadly did not get to start the AU game this weekend. In 2 weeks (our next regularly scheduled session) I'll be back in Ohio visiting and 2 weeks after that things don't work out either. So mid-freakin-MAY I get to start AU. Bleh.

Oh well, at least I should be joining a game thru OpenRPG this coming week. That will help with the jones for AU heh. Also, at least by then our group may have settled back down and I'll be able to make sure we'll have everyone. I know for sure I'll have already made everyone makea character by then heh.

We have some AU characters in our current campaign and the one before that was straight up AU.

We've had a pretty great time with it, though I don't know that anyone aside from me has developed a deep dedication.

My group just moves through characters too quickly, and sometimes systems.

Still and all I love it.

I started a campaign right after GenCon 2003. We played through Plague of Dreams by FDP, and are now neck-deep in Siege of Ebonring Keep by MEG. I have inserted 3-5 sessions of my own adventure ideas, mostly to bridge plot lines or explore tangents that the PC's went off on. We play 1-2 times a month.

Our party:
Verrik Winter Witch - freezing word! a cool concept
Giant Champion of Justice - chi-julud = sick damage
Spryte Unfettered - mostly dangerous with his diplomacy
Human Greenbond - don't forget to roleplay these classes, they are not just token clerics
Sibeccai Champion of Death - it may be someone's 'time'
Human Warmain - ugly but effective

Each of us continue to be amazed/impressed with the magic system and the extensive flexibility of the races and classes. That, and the injection of a new feel of 'wonder' into our game, since we're all veteran gamers. It's fun for me (DM) and them to come upon some monster or NPC and no one knows what might happen or who's capable of what.

I am using some of the rules in an otherwise almost-standard campaign. I am using magisters instead of wizards, but have my own organization around them. I'm using a few other classes as well as some of the races.

You can't do that.

Cheers
The current character I play, an orc druid, has a 19 Wis and a 7 Cha. I play him not as shy, but as introspective; a mystic.

We are just about to finish Ebonring Keep. They are all 6th level. Giant (3 racial levels) Warmain/Wolf Totem, Sibeccai(3 racial levels) Hawk Totem, Litorean (3 racial Levels) Unfettered, Spryte Runethain/Hawk Totem, Verrik Wood Witch & Spryte(2 racial levels) Mage Blade.

I beefed up most encounters as the 1/2CR Rhodin really aren't very interesting after the 20th or so night attack.

The adventure itself has a couple flaws at the start, if your players are the type to be unconventional, you will have to wing it through some parts, as any good DM can
