Next thing you know they'll be linking role-playing games to devil worship... oh wait.
I know, just 'cause we kill stuff in-character doesn't mean we do out of character. *Heads off to polish his chainsaw*

Sounds like a political move. "Our constituents want to see us take action against these dang video games that are corrupting our kids." I doubt anyone seriously thinks it will pass, though.

How silly. It reminds me of South Park the movie, the "Blame Canada" song. The last line is "Blame Canada before someone blames us (the parents)."

Being raised in a Chinese Southern Baptist environment, there are many old family friends to which my parents simply leave the "D&D" part out of my description. It's always funny to see their faces when I mention Dungeons and Dragons.

My parents didn't really get role-playing until they saw me run an "All flesh must be eaten" game where zombies were overrunning the house and the guys needed a little guidence on guns and available resources in the house, two topics that my dad knows a lot about...

Where did the kids get the bat to hit the police officer with? Those damn bats getting into the hands of kids! This bill needs to be amended to include sporting equipment stores, bat manufacturers and Major League Baseball.

And while we are at it, let's hold the spray paint manufacturers liable for graffitti clean-up costs, and poultry farmers for kids who egg cars and houses, and those damn toilet paper manufacturers...!

And dictionaries! Cutting remarks are the number one cause of teen violence...
