I don't know about anyone else, but I'd love to see a redux of the Slavers series in 4E, to see what could be done with it. Those adventures break half of today's conventional game wisdom:
[sblock]
--unavoidable PC capture,
--throwing PCs into a dangerous place buck-naked,
--assaults against enormous forces, almost requiring stealth
etc.
[/sblock]

However, with 4E's new bag of tricks with per-encounter stuff, minions rules, and God knows what else, it could bring back some of the old tropes in those modules, while STILL giving the players a fighting chance.

Besides that, though, I don't think I'd like to see very much "reduxing" in 4E, but rather they focus on new stuff, like Dave Noonan keeps saying.

They mentioned at one time that we'll be seeing a lot of old classics in one way or another.

I personally would LOVE to see the one's you mentioned and many more. And new ones too. The more modules - the better.

The Against the Giants series would be seriously awesome in 4e. As it was, the series was an arrangement of giant fights in different rooms. However, with the 4e rules, that kind of thing could be crazyfun, with different giants having different roles, etc.

Plus, with the 4e skill rules as they are, it would allow for PCs to be creative in their approach to those series of dungeons.

The Against the Giants modules are long due for an update anyhow.

Isle Of Dread is specifically called out in the 'Worlds and Monsters' book as part of the Feywild so one would think they have plans for it.

They also seem to have taken a lot of inspiration from the Temple of Elemental Evil so I'd guess that one is coming.

And isn't the next 'huge' DDM set going to be called 'Against the Giants'?

I would guess that 'conversions' are less likely than 'reimaginings' considering the mechanical differences in play and the design philosophy differences that have changed the gods and monsters and such.

I think they are going to try to do new things in the main line modules and publish the rehashes as part of the monthly Dungeon DDI offerings.

I think the redos will be an awesome blend of 1e sense of wonder with 2e-grade story and fluff, 3e consistency and monster power, and 4e encounter design and better adventure flow.
