There's a remote chance I could learn something from previews or reviews from prior to Amazon's release date that would cause me not to buy at least the core books, but that's really unlikely. Now, I'm not the regular DM for my group -- in six years of playing with them, I've run six weeks of a SWSE game -- so I can't dictate what we play, and I won't buy more than the core books unless I'm regularly playing the game. But I've got a lot of games on my bookshelf that I'm sure will get less play time than 4e will.

It's tempting to say I'll wait for the SRD, but having heard that the books will be out a while before the SRD, well, I know myself, and I'm going to buy them.

I will buy it sight unseen (the core 3 books when released) - whether I actually play it depends on what I think of the rules once I've seen them and what everybody else round the gaming table thinks of them as well.

As of this moment, the difference between the two polls is:

I will buy it sight unseen 266 38.27% vs. 79 56.43% dif +16%
I might buy it, after initial reviews 157 22.59% vs 25 17.86% dif -4.73%
I probably will not buy it, but might eventually 171 24.60% vs. 23 16.43% dif -8.17
I absolutely will not buy it 60 8.63% vs. 7 5.00% dif -3.63
I have no idea 41 5.90% vs. 6 4.29% dif -1.61

So far, though the sample is not the same, it seems like more people plan on buying 4e than before (about 75%).

Down one step for me from buying it sight unseen (last poll) to might buy after some reviews, though it's more like a probably (at least the player's handbook).

You'd think. But there seem to be quite a few posters letting us know they would never buy, play, look at or even think about 4e.

In every thread.

None of the options quite apply to me. (but I'll vote sight unseen) After the initial announcement, I placed myself squarely in the 'wait and see' camp. As we've been seeing more actual crunch recently... I have to say I'm leaning more towards not playing 4e. Not by a lot, but some.

I'll have a better idea after I see Races & Classes in a couple weeks.

In all honesty though, I will likely buy the first set on release. It is whether I will by any future product that is really in question.

I will probably at some point break down and buy it. It sounds like it will be interesting to readjust to see what they did, even though I will likely disagree with many of their choices. The flavor will likely continue to disgust me, though the mechanics will probably be quite interesting. I will not pay a monthly subscription fee.

True. But I still think a lot of the no people from the first poll are not even looking any more.
We already have 10 "Absolute No" answers right now, that covers quite of few of the negative types. (And I seem to be one of the negatives lately, but my vote was not amongst those 10).
