Im cool with feat wishes with the 5 feat limit. At that lvl who cares really. I would rather wish for a Spell-like ability personaly.

I wish to Etheral Jont at will.

I wish to become Invisable at will.

I wish to beable to summon helpful minons at will.

I wish to heal moderate wounds at will.

That sort of thing.

I wouldn't allow that with Wish. I have a different spell for that. Much higher cost. Balances it out well. Wish allows you to duplicate most spells, but that most asuredly doesn't imply that it can grant the same spell as a spell-like ability. Casting any spell once with wish is one thing. Casting it at will is another.

I'd allow you to gain the feat, but you'd still have to make the same sacrifices as if you just choose the feat. That is the one where you sacrifice a spell slot eight levels higher, correct?

I agree with Crothian. I won't grant a feat with Wish unless you meet the prereqs. One of the prereqs of that feat is that you MUST have a spellslot to spend. If you don't, I'll let you make the wish, though it will be wasted because you won't get anything from it. Nice try. :)

:D Worth a try. Actually, I have a PC who'd be interested in Wishing for Inherent Spell. He'd spend the spell slot (eventually, the PC isn't high enough level to think about Wish just yet...) but doesn't have Still Spell, Silent Spell, and Quicken Spell.

Sadly, I think my DM will rule as you and Crothian suggest. Not that I'd rule any differently! :p
