Hell yeah!

Give me a necromancer that resemble the tropes, themes and fiction of post-2000's ''necromancy'' instead of the terrible school of necromancy we have for now!

With Diablo 4, would you want WotC do another D&D Diablo book this time for 5e?

I think the previous D&D Diablo book was one of the inspirations behind the Sorcerer class.
I hate to be that guy, but I don't really see the need when Shadow of the Demon Lord is a d20 game designed as Rob Schwalb's "what if?" edition of 5e D&D / Ode to WHFRP that covers almost all the same ground as what I would imagine or want from a d20-based Diablo TTRPG.

The lore of Diablo is basically infernal forces against the mankind. A compedium of monsters is possible, but forget the classes.

Warcraft should be closer to become a licenced setting published by WotC.

And we don't know if Hasbro should talk with Microsoft after the acquisition for a new licence agremeent.

After killing the final boss the first game, the game became too boring for me, and not only this game, but all the genre.

It's tradition at this point, and I'd like to see it continued... but I'm not in the market anymore for either more WotC D&D or for more Diablo of any kind.

So it's a "yes" from me, but a "yes" that probably shouldn't count.

We need a Diablo 3 RPG before 4, methinks.

I'd have to say yes though - still have my Diablo D&D books on the shelf, including the starter boxed set.

Interested, but I don't just want the setting ported to 5e rules. I want Diablo style item generators with affixes, and I want powers that use mana, or have round-based cool down effects. I don't just want reskinned 5e.

It should use the same basic rules framework as 5e. Just dump the spell slot paradigm, daily powers, and the entire concept of rest as a recharge mechanic. It should play like a tabletop version of an action RPG. The dungeon diving shouldn't stop because you are out of spells. That shouldn't even be a thing.

And don't be afraid to give martial characters similar abilities. Give martials more than just here is some bonus dice, or you get a couple of extra attacks.

I would think that would be folded into the general lore of a Diablo Campaign Setting book, which might also drew stuff from the novels and othet Diablo products as well.
