With how many people have of role-played with since your first game?

Since 1981 I've played with 6 groups and GMed several one-shots. I did not participate at conventions or adventure leagues. My total is around mid-40.

I run games for kids at the library, I’ve done a lot of one shots with people I barely knew, etc.

Before 3E I counted and it was 120+ at least. Now with AL it has to be close or over 300.

I have never gamed at a con- the one time I was to GM, my session was cancelled- and so all of my gaming has been done with friends & family of some kind.

Just a wild guess. Over 100. Started in 1981, moved around a bit, but most of those were from my 6 years in the military. Lots of people PCS'd in and out, including me. And also ran a few Con or AL games.

No idea. I've demoed D&D and in one day could have had three or four groups of 5-8 players, so up to 30 players a day at points.

I'd hazard over 300 at this point easily...but no idea what the actual number is so won't pollute the poll with an answer.

I have had a group in junior High and High school. A group in college. Two groups in grad school. Four+ groups post grad school. That's a few dozen people...

But then there are the large larps, which have been 40-80 people affairs. The small larps. The EN World Gamedays (a tradition of a bygone era). The house cons...

I'm over 150 for sure. I might be over 200 but I don't think I quite hit 300. But I've been to quite a few conventions over the years, so maybe?

Excluding con games and one-offs, I'm at almost 50, spread across 30+ years and about seven distinct gaming groups.
