I have high hopes for this game. If Blizzard can't make a fun, worthwhile MMORPG, then IMO no one can. At least not for the forseable future.

Just so everyone knows, you can't use a Hotmail or Yahoo account to sign up for the beta. So make sure you have another account that you can use to sign up.

Well, the way I see it, I'd rather someone from ENWorld get in than... pretty much anyone else. Let's see if we can actually get some roleplaying in a MMORPG, darnit.

I'd be interested in a guild, except I'm in guild from EQ (amongst other games), the Fourth Wall (www.the4th-wall.net).

Haven't really been watching WoW, but some first-hand experience with the game may convince me to try out my fourth MMORPG come retail.

I'm really interested in this game. I've never played any of the Warcrafts, tho.

I was lucky enough to get into the Star Wars Galaxies and Final Fantasy XI betas. I hope my luck keeps up. *thumbs up*

Heh, FFXI would be the only one I'd be interested in beta-testing.

To be perfectly honest, even if I get in the beta for WoW, I highly doubt I'd be buying and paying for the game to play. I don't have fifteen dollars a month to pay for one game, and I doubt I will unless I miraculously get a good paying job before it comes out.

Heh, FFXI would be the only one I'd be interested in beta-testing.

Out of the 2, FFXI was far superior - as it should be because it was out and running in Japan for over a year. Galaxies was cool for a bit but got old quickly. I've been temped to pick up FFXI for PC but I have a free PS2 HD coming as part of the beta. Comes with the game. I'd be a fool to not play the PS2 version - at least for a bit.

I'm not really big on MMORPGs in general. I've played a few but none have kept my attention more than a few months. I'm hoping WoW is more than just a big-ass chatroom, which is what most MMORPGs basically are.
