In one game of ours we had a half-orc barbarian named Norman The Half-Orc. The rest of the party dubbed him Norman Smash instead, on the basis of his job and battlecry.

Someone: "Hey, there's another door."

Norman: "Norman SMASH!"

And he proceeds to kick the door down.

I think my worst was frawd the dwarven thief, I had forgot to name my character, so I just used dwarf backwards, and sadly I used him for 2 years.

I had "Buzz Lightwood", a druid from Lightwood.

And in my RtToEe we have an elven ranger named Texas. He would have named himself U.S, but didn't think he could get away with it.

Worst name ever? Pteahminorylafaro - i think. I rolled the letters randomly. But that was way back, he was a 1e psionicist - any one remember 1e energy control?

My current gnome mage is called; Fonkin Harbuckle which is quite a bad name...

Previously I played a dwarf fighter called Dagus Goatbeard.

In a twilight 2000 game there was a character (not mine!) called Bob Lawrence Zeebub

But the king of bad names is one of our players who is infamous for giving "elf-names" to his dwarves and "dwarf-names" to his elves. He also names ALL his dwarves "Gimli"

Case in point; his current dwarf fighter; Gimli Thorin Fallingleaf

When he DM'd he decided my elf should be the long-lost heir to a noble family, fine you think...

That'll be the well known elven noble house of...
