Worthless Loot

We had a player in a Star Wars game whose character almost turned Dark Side and kill a shopkeeper over a worthless trinket I placed in the shop. They were on Tatooine, and on the spur of the moment, I created a "sand sucker" that sucked the dirt off your shoes and deposited it outside. He ALMOST decided to kill the shop keeper to take his sand sucker, not thinking about checking around town for his own.

The most recent party I had a PC in had another player who seemed to believe that he was entitled to twice as much loot as everyone else, but our DM was adamant that we shouldn't fight each other.

We picked a fight with the first powerful-looking NPC we saw, and then abandoned the greedy player.
