Haven't presented it well enough.
Haven't presented what well enough? You're point of view?

Well then...

//Ed McMahon Voice: You are correct, sir.
Ultimately, i don't want the idea dismissed or scoffed at, wether or not you like or dislike the person who defends it.
Like or dislike? Man, I don't even know you, I haven't even formed an opinion on whether or not I like you.

What I have formed an opinion of is the fact that you won't explain,

Right, because not liking an advertisement and not explaining why one dislikes it is trollish behavior.
It is when you post the same thing, time after time after time, refuse to explain why, and expect everyone to agree with you, because you are so obviously right.

Let me give you a hint here, boy,
Will this be how to beat level 5?

On noes!!!!111one!!!eleven!!1111 He called me "boy"! Arrgh, I am stricken to my mortal coil! Death, where is thine sting! I am shamed before all of ENWorld by such masterful insulting.

Impart of me some wisdom.
no one is binded to your word. Stop acting as if you carry some authority around here.
Your hint has been successfully entered, and logged into the hint book. If this hint proves useful, you will be given full credit upon update, and more points for downloading cheats will be made available to you.

Not that it bothers me, but let's not slow down this thread with juvenile attempts at attacks, OK?

You're being a troll.

I state this once, politcally correct being one where they try not to step on everyone's eggshells. This, in the same vein as changing "manhole" to "personhole" and various other changes, is what I meant.
We're not talking about the policies of blue state governments in the 1990s, we're talking about the ad industry. You alleged it is normal for ads in America to be politically correct. Your statement is clearly and patently false.
Far be it from me to undermine whatever structure is set up here in these forums, a public place for discussion, no, as I said, i'm here to present a simple idea.
An idea so simple you can't explain it to anyone?
And why, for the life of me, can I not fathom when people bring situations and people on a different, and grander scale, than the issue at hand? If everyone brought up third world poverty, battling AIDs and cancer, worldwide releif funds, the military as some kind of argument or contrast in even the most mundane of arguements, things would get stale quickly.
Let me spell it out for you in an easy set of steps:
1. You claim to take yourself and your playing of D&D "very seriously."
2. D&D is not serious.
3. People who actually do serious things do not, for the most part, take themselves "very seriously."
4. If people who are much more important than you and do more important things than you do don't take themselves as seriously as you evidently do, perhaps a serious reassessment is in order.
Finally, you assume people who dislike 1 ad, out of many, have glass egos.
No. I'm saying that you are parading around with a giant glass ego and could hurt yourself if you don't stop.
And finally, I said before, one can be senstive to advertisements or statements that others find absolutely fine.
There are two pretty useful criteria for determining if one is legitimately offended. One should ask: (a) are other people protrayed in this ad also offended? and (b) can I explain why I am offended? You fail on both counts.
Me and you are 2 different people, and you should realize that there is a point where you can't paint everyone with the same brush concerning their inability to get a chuckle from themeselves because there are differing things they like, and dislike in the same area (Gamer advertisements)
What is at issue is not whether you find the ad funny. What is at issue is that you find the ad offensive. I have no problem with you not being amused. I do have a problem with you concluding the ad is offensive.

Well, the best way to avoid such derision is to explain what has got you so worked up.

Well, yeah :\

I mean seriously, if you are offended by something and someone asks why you are offended...what do you gain by not answering?

How do you stop your argument from being "dismissed or scoffed at" by not answering?

What exaxctly do you gain by not answering this simple point? A air of mystique or somethign?

Don't question him, TB! He may haul out his all powerful "boy" at you! Then where will you be when he gives you a hint?

Question him not, for he is an individual, and we cannot understand that!

So i guess to you, an opinion is something to be labeled in truths and falsehoods. False. False. False. I rest my case.

It's surely a more original term, or usage of regonizing your existence, than all the other insults being used in forums today, i'll tell you that.
