The fact is that our hobby is dominated by people who sit in dark rooms consuming Coke and pizza typing away on our computers.

(Ket looks around and turns a light on. He smiles smugly and nods.)

I think it's great when someone brings in the issue of racism, which is non-sequiter, seeing as how the topic dealt with a culture that extends to all races, in an attempt-and a poor one I might add-at humor, or one to garner ridicule of the original poster.

Grabbed yourself a new account there The Persian?

Poor form.

And again, you didn't see what could have, but others have, and while it's alright for you to laugh at the ad, you don't have to laugh at others.

Laugh at others? Aren't we all geeks here? Hell, when I was in high school my room was in the basement. I _liked_ it there.

I honestly don't understand. It's just an ad.

I brought in race because while it seems that those who find this ad "destroying the fabric of gaming" there are more serious issues that happen in marketing everyday that most of us other sexes, races and demographics have to take light at and just get past it. The idea was at sarcasm (which i see fails you as general humor does).

I just find it ironic that anyone would find anything wrong with an ad and turn a blind eye to most advertising in this country.

I'll take Hit the Nail On The Head for $2000, Alex.

A blind eye, I might add, to the point where they characterize it as overwhelmingly PC. Don for President!
