Oh yes, the ultimate arguement of world class debaters. Often heard during heated debates engaged in important issue confrontation.

"I don't have to. NYAH!"

Yes, it is important.

How can we understand why it may be insulting if you won't say why it was insulting?

Like I posted above, this reminds me of all the crying about the that people sn Jason VS Olympic Runner advertisement ivelled about.

Don't bring something up if you're not going to explain it.

Oh wait...where did I here that from before?!

Why? Just so it can get ripped apart? My view on why I don't like is not the standards by which other gamers wouldn't like this, and other advertisements as well. I'm not going to falsely depicit that so you can have a good laugh over *it*.

Because that is what adults do. If you go out in public and shout "I am offended," which is what you're essentially doing by posting here, then you had better be prepared to defend yourself. Kids can get away with that crap because their cognitive reasoning skills aren't as developed; adults can't. Adults have to defend their statements if made in a public venue.

If you are unwilling to do so, then don't come out and shout it from the mountain top. You make yourself look ignorant and childish.

No, so you can place a position on the floor of the discussion and defend said postition. Right now there are a lot of people reading these and not responding, don't worry about the people being critical of your stance; you should present your reasonsd for those of us that rarely post but like a good discussion when it happens (and man that happens rarely around here these days....).

Nowhere on the forum rules am I so obligated to fulfill your whim and desires. If you want to burn me at the stake for that, by all means. Thus far i've seen a handful of people with the civility to tolerate my unique methods of carrying forth an idea i'm reluctant to bring out, and to those people, you have my respect.

So we can understand your point of view, and perhaps be swayed into saying: "Hmmm, perhaps that advertisement was ill thought out."

Just so it can get ripped apart?
That's a risk you take posting on an internet forum, isn't it?

My view on why I don't like is not the standards by which other gamers wouldn't like this, and other advertisements as well.
Then why? What is your view on why you do not like it?

I'm not going to falsely depicit that so you can have a good laugh over *it*.
Ah, the infamous: "No, you'll make fun of it." defense.

See, this is a rather effective troll. Generate lots of posts on a non-issue or false issue. Kind of like going to the dragon ball Z boards and posting "SUPERMAN COULD BEAT UP GOKU!" and watching the fur fly.

Of course, if it is ridiculious, after that "boy" comment, I'm going to tear it to shreds and mock you mercilessly.

Wow, so where does this attitude come from? It wasn't a unreasonible request. you've stated your opinion, now people just want to know the why. Its like debate, but instead of trying to educate people to your own point of view you present these answers that can be labeled as almost hostile. I just don't get it..... :\

If i'm correct in this...a request is something that can be fulfilled, or denied, correct? I just choose to deny it, that's all. Why ask something if you're not willing to accept the lesser outcome?
