WotC's forum "Iconics" discussion thread (or "goobye, Lidda")

I'd really like to start a poll to see which iconic characters people would bring forward if some where coming forward. Clearly Lidda would win, but I'm curious is any are close.

Unfortunately, with the boards in the state they are in, the poll would disappear quickly.
Try it anyway. Some of the more bump-hungry threads have been locked recently... :)

Lidda was the only fun iconic of 3e. Of course, this was probably because she was :
A) a rogue. Because rogues are used to do fun things (cuting purse, stealing thing, blowing up cigares, counting gold pieces...)
B) cute. Probably the only cute character among the iconic.

C) Lidda = Love.

I really don't get how anybody finds Lidda attractive.
I'm not sure I understand all the love for Lidda, either.

Of the 3.X iconics, I'm most fond of Gimble, Vadania, and Hennet, in that order, but I would still prefer to see all new iconics, especially if they were as well designed as these three. Also, sign my name to that ethnic diversity proposal!

Bargle. There is only Bargle.

Naw - with Asmodeus ascended to godhood in the new edition, I'm pushing for ascension for Bargle too - Bargle, God of Evil Magic has a nice ring to it.

She is not attractive. She is fun and cute. We could call this the pikachu effect. She's a 3e mascot.

Hrm. I thought Meepo was the 3e mascot?

Hey - does Meepo count as an "iconic"? The "iconic kobold"?
