I mean, yeah, you have to assume at least one manual of quickness in action too, but I don't think anybody's disputing that it is technically possible to achieve these scores. They still remain implausible, and unnecessary for this character.

Kinda sad seeing the decline of the longsword over the editions.

Can't sneak attack with them now, dex super stat obsoletes strength etc.

Longswords should just be one handed finesse weapons with slashing in DnD.

A real Longsword ia more close to a Bastard Sword. Which should be introduced as a replacement to the current longsword. And now you can at least drop his str to sane levels without gimping anyone.

A differwnt approach could be just allowing elves to use longswords in one hand as a finesse weapon or, not call it finesse, bit just allowing them to use dex instead of str for one handed longsword attacks.

A protagonist can be a hero, but doesn’t have to be. The protagonist is the main character; it could be a villain. The words aren’t synonyms.

This has never made sense to me......there shouldn't be powerful NPCs? I've never understood this
