Would you pay for cool features?

I've been meaning to donate for quite a while now but haven't yet. I gladly will to keep this site going and to avoid the necessity of a user limit. While I would like to see the search feature re-activated, I would prefer that we don't start having custom titles or avatars.

i'm not reading all the preceding posts--that's your job, morrus. so this might have been suggested. i don't know if this software makes it possible, but if so, an idea would be to have the user limit, but exempt donating users so they can get in anytime. that way server utilization is still somewhat limited and the variable part is the paying part. but if the software can't do that, it's just another lame idea.

If it's possible, I think this is a great idea.

I would definately pay, even if there where no "extras". Heck in all honesty i was planning to put aside the type of money morrus was talking about for a monthly donation, so if paying that much a year gets me some nifty stuff alls the better. I hope this goes through, i miss avatars, who on line, ect, and the custom title thing is a real cool idea.

I will gladly donate, but if I am to pay approx. $25 a year, I need certain promises from Morrus. Ones I am sure that he wholeheartedly agrees with, but it has to be said anyways. One, no pop-up ads EVER. Two, the advertising shall always be tasteful banner ads. Three, NEVER selling off our private information.

As for the cool features, I would like a custom title but have no use for the other features.

If people in the US want to send Morrus checks, my suggestion is that they send them to Piratecat, who can then PayPal Morrus the money and avoid international fees for him trying to cash them. People in other countries are going to have to figure something else out for themselve. Maybe mail him some euros?

As I mentioned earlier, I would pay, but I would not accept being unable to access the web site for half of the day. The only times I truely want to look at the site it is bogged down. Forget features, I just want access.
