Combat round 2:
Initiative for combat:

Human1 turns around and staggers 15ft. away from the approaching madman with his greatsword.
With the heavy armour and panther steaks slowing Gordo down he switches his attention to the nearest target (moves 20ft. up to H2) and opens a can of whip-ass (melee attack roll of 7 + 5(AB) + 1(bless) - 1(PA) = 12; a hit doing 12HP dmg) on human1 knocking him to the ground.
Zeratol (hide check of 4 + 6 - 20(attacking) = -10; fail) finds it impossible to hide in the heat of battle and loads his crossbow (move action) and takes another shot at H1 (ranged attack roll of 17 + 4(AB) = 21; a hit doing 6HP dmg) putting the bolt through his chest. Human1 falls to the ground.
Astarra loads her crossbow (move action) and takes aim but as her intended target goes down she switches to human2 (ranged attack roll of 1
; miss) and pulls the shot wide.
By the time Ulfar gets within striking distance human2 is lying on the ground bleeding badly.
Both humans are down and bleeding to death.

Zeratol takes a good look around to make sure no other humans have gone undetected. When he is happy that the coast is clear he emerges from the tall grass, dusts off his robe and casually saunters over to the rest of the group.
Upon reaching the dead humans he kicks one lightly with the tip of his boot saying “People don’t seem to be too friendly in this part of the world”. With that he gives each human a long stare trying to decipher where they might have come from, if they have any insignia or obvious affiliation and if by chance they were under some sort of spell or enchantment.

"Aarrgh!", yells the dwarf as he fails yet again to provide a meaningful contribution to the slaying of enemies. "It seems like there is more trouble brewing here than was thought if the humans and lizardfolk are working together! We should make for the lighthouse and see if we can find out who is behind this.", says Ulfar. "Let's see if any of the crossbow bolts are usable that these scum were carring. Please remember that I will expect you all to give your tithe when we get back to town ", Ulfar will inform as he helps Gordo search the bodies.

Gordo looks at the unconscious body laying before him, raises his sword and stabs the human in the chest one final time. There is a soft moan and seconds later the body lay there still. He then walks over to the other body and finishes him off too.
The party search the bodies and find:
1 x masterwork scimitar
1 x masterwork light crossbow with 20 bolts
1 x potion of cure light wounds
1 x potion of mage armor
1 x potion of jump
1 x potion of endure elements

While the others search the bodies Zeratol takes a good look around. When he is satisfied that there is no more immediate danger he joins the others and takes a closer look at their attackers. To the best of Zeratol's knowledge... ... ... these look like two fairly ordinary humans
Being the good aligned people that you are you cannot help but wonder what you could've learnt from the twoexecuted deceased humans.
Once again the party gather their gear and set off toward the lighthouse. The journey is fairly uneventful (exept for Gordo's bathroom stop - panther steaks have a rather good "cleansing" effect on the body ) until you are about a 1/2 mile from the lighthouse...
The party spot a creature about 40ft. from them in the bushes parallel to the trail. The creature is about 6 - 7ft. tall with green scales and a tail about 3ft. long. The creature is aware that it has been spotted and throws its javelin into the ground infront of you. "Stop right there!" it shouts.

Gordo, heeding the medicine mans advice to supplement his diet with some greenery and fish has an immediate urge to slaughter the green thing, scale it and chow down.... He however enjoys a bit of entertainment with dinner so he shouts out as he draws his great sword "Thanx for the toothpick bugbreath, you got some mints to go with that?" "State your business or say your prayers", the blade of the greatsword reflecting a twinkle in his eye (could be hunger or excitement). "The only way I'm gonna stop right here is if you bring your lizzard ass over here and save me the walk over there to give you whats comming to you!"
Gordo is ready for the fight and will not be intimidated! He slowly and cautiously advances to the creatures position, waiting for it to make its intentions known
