Did you love S3?

Does your wizard have a laser pistol looted from another plane?

Or do you hate all that crap, and want your fantasy pure?

This poll covers, broadly, whether you've mixed game systems in the same campaign (for example, the old 1e rules for converting from dnd to Gamma World :)), as well as just plain mixing genres (S3, for instance).

Well, I dunno if this counts as SF, but Urbis does have some exploration of other planets - though through magical means instead of spaceships.

I even wrote up the other planets of the same solar system...

My Game World includes a race known as the Azhul Warmongers who are a pretty blatant rip-off of Predators (but with broader & flatter heads) who use Mecha-armour with Invisibility Field, returning 'chakram discs', Ligthning Staves and Flame Burst grenades.

A PC got to keep a suit of Power Armour that granted improved strength and speed, a gas filter, arm mounted laser canon and a magnetic detection zone (Blindsight)

Well, looks like there's no making it multiple choice... :( Oh well, maybe I'll repost it another time with the multiple choice enabled. For now, go ahead and vote.

We used to periodically crossover with Gamma World, and I ran a single game where the pcs went to modern earth and dealt with WoD vampires. Yowch. That one was painful! :D

To be honest with you, I'm not sure what "purity" and fantasy have to do with each other. I've never considered D&D style fantasy to be "pure" and I read John Carter of Mars before I read Tolkien. ;)

Jester, if you repost it I'll try to cut responses from this thread and put them in the other. It might not work, but it's worth a shot.
