Your First Character? (with crunch)

Well you will certainly need some ranger skills if you are to be an effective bountyhunter (i.e. tracking in the wilderness and all)

Perhaps the raven could be your link to the ravenqueen, and from which the queen gives you her edicts/orders. Well, considering one of my last characters was a Bariaur (Planar Handbook variant) who was convinced a teddy bear was the real hero and he was just its "mount," it really wouldn't matter if the raven really was a conduit to the Raven Queen or not. I find a bit of delusion and outright psychosis can really make a character memorable. :)

It's not certain, really; if the skills are more flexible and Track is a feat a fighter will be fine. Besides, most marks won't be rangers so they will most likely won't be good at hiding their tracks.
