Your sports video games and default favorite teams?

Which sports video games do you have and which default Favorite Team did you choose for each one?

I remember those games (I'm old! ).

As hard as it would be for today's young folk to fathom, sports video games without official licenses were more the norm than the exception back then.

As for the available teams back then, I'd usually pick San Francisco (being a Bay Area native, though there wasn't any San Jose representation in games back then like there is now with the San Jose Sharks and the San Jose Earthquakes) or Chicago (where some of my relatives live).

Whenever I play games I always start with a Minnesota team. I'm a sucker for my state's teams even when they're terrible.

NHL 2k8 is the only game that I've been often enough that I actually started picking other teams, but that's only when I got tired of seeing the Wild jersey's all the team and then I just pick a team where they have a nice variety of cool looking jersey's that would take me a while to get tired of.

I'm not familiar with Football Manager.

And yes, many times. I simmed one league from 1901 to 2000-something.

I can relate. I always play as my favorite team in each game regardless of whether they're good or bad in real life.
