Zombies and Crooks (DM:Mal Malenkirk Judge: Covaithe )

After three attacks completely negated by Jarel's magic might, the Usurper's minion is starting to catch on that he should destroy this pest. He launches a furious assault that Jarel bears surprisingly well, turning away all but one blow.

Worse for the fiend, Andrec even uses the distraction to tear a chunk of shadow from his body with a powerful blow while the lightning from Mesa's spell sear him again.

[sblock=Well, huh...]Sorry, mate! When you posted for Matial, I thought that was our turn to go again since before you've done abesentees and monsters together. Oh, well, no worries, you handled the timing it looks like.

And on that note, I obvious am sleep-deprived and am headed to bed...[/sblock]

[sblock=Velmont]Jarel-Karn's bloodied value is 18hp. The monster can attack twice, giving it a maximum per-round (barring AP) damage of 20. [/sblock]

Montroya moves away from the creature. The deva raises his staff and holy radiance bursts out to enclose the creature, burning it's aberrant flesh. The radiance shimmers around Jarel-Karn, shielding him from it's attacks.

[sblock=Tactics]...If the Minion hits with an attack, I'll use my Preserver's rebuke power to let the hit ally gain a +4 to their next attack.[/sblock]

[sblock]Reviewing your preserver rebuke power, I notice that it's YOU who gets the +4 (INT) to the next attack roll against an enemy who has hit an ally within 5 square. It is a personal power.

Noting how easy it is to use (ally are getting hit all the time and you use it on your turn), I am surprised I don't remember you using it every fight... [/sblock]

[sblock=Waiting]I'm holding Andrec's turn until after Jarel-Karn moves. I am paying attention; just not ready to act yet.[/sblock]

[sblock]I go to a party with Velmont this afternoon (The other kind of party). I'll grab him by the scruff of the neck and make him post before he gets drunk. That's the kind of diligent DM I am.[/sblock]
