Okay, Shayuri, your character looks almost ready. The only problem I see is the vest of resistance. Since the DMG is your only source for magic items you will have to make that a cloak. I might also recommend maxing out Search. Aside from that, everything else looks good. Make the change to the vest and you are cleared to post your character to the RG. Once that's done, I'll put up the IC thread and we'll get this puppy started!

Recruiting is open for an arcane caster. It has been almost a month with no login from s@squ@tch. Wherever he is, I do not think I will be able to rely on him as a player in this campaign. And things are going to get dicey pretty soon.

Optimally, someone would be willing to take Hedowin's build and make some minimal changes. But we haven't really gotten so far that there would be any break in verisimilitude by out-and-out replacing him with another character.

Hi! :)

My time constraints have lessened quite a bit by now, so I might be willing to commit myself to this campaign once more. Arcane caster suits me fine (most likely a Human Sorcerer; with PHB2 allowed now, there are some more options for Sorcerers at least; like being able to actually use Quicken Spell, and some nice spells; plus, I like spontaneous casters :)). I could have a character ready by tomorrow.

There are a few questions coming to mind...

Attributes... can I keep my amazing roll from the last campaign? :D

Item buying/creation... what is the current policy on changing the slots (in particular for Cloak of Charisma / Cloak of Resistance) or merging items together. Is it even possible? Do we use the DMG guidelines here (item slot affinity, 50% cost increase)? I assume, that only existing items can be made... only want to be able to actually use the most basic items (together). :)

XP debt = still start at 12th, but have to pay off debt before earning XP, right?

Is Planar Binding ok?

That is all that comes to mind right now...

Note, if you want to make a sorceror, bear in mind we have a Beguiler already.

Just something to keep in mind when you're choosing those precious spell picks.
