With Cythera and Kalius able to finish off the tripped up skeleton, Ariel puts away her longspear to free one of her hands once more.

Pointing and sending another flaming bolt gifted by Helina at the skeletons, she cries, "Burn in hell!"

The cleric's firebolt hits the spell casting skeleton and scorches it, leaving a smoldering hole in its cloak, and few bones fall off to the cobblestones. The skeleton is only lightly damaged, though.

Veniarus moves from his position behind Cythera and Kalius, into a better position from which to launch bolts at the undead. Granted his bolts won't actually do much to these undead, but at the moment they are the best weapons that he has until he can safely close in on the undead. Once in that position Veniarus fires a bolt at the prone Undead:

Cythera quips nonchalantly, "We cannot let that one escape, you can handle this one, no?"

Dancing by the prone skeleton, the bronze dragon disciple doesn't show concern as she nimbly evades the sword striking again at her knees from the fallen undead.

Whirling her flail with two hands, maneuvers around behind the mage-like skeleton and tries to knock its head off its shoulders. Unfortunately she barely missed.

GM: Kalius left for Round 4.

Veniarus has to reload first to fire the crossbow again. But, he also doesn't need to move to fire at SK2 around Cythera without giving the skeleton cover. I left him in place.

Ariel shrugs off the worst of the draining effects, and grasps her own holy symbol. "Helina, preserve us!"

The cleric's divine channeling of healing energy washes back over her companions, undoing the skeleton's effects. With her morningstar in hand she closes in on the last of the undead.

Veniarus and Kalius both feel the full effects of the Skeleton's draining influence. However thanks to Ariel's timely healing, neither of them suffers for too long. After that Veniarus aims his now loaded Crossbow at the final skeleton and fires the bolt in an attempt to kill it.

The draining wave and healing waves feel like a quick tide coming in and out, but don't really make must difference in the Dance.

Cythera continues her intricate dance and side steps to flank the skeleton and notices Veniarus's crossbow bolt pass by her ear as she brings the heavy flail above her head, the spiked ball whirling.

"Good work on the other one, this one is mine!"

The two-handed blow crashes down on the skeleton's collar bone and passes through the rib cage and spine, spraying bone fragments in several directions.
