It's good that they previewed the Ring of Shooting Stars, I always felt it was the most interesting ring in concept as it's always the odd one out in any edition.

I love the art for these rings. The ring of spell-storing in particular is a very cool design; a two-finger ring! Why didn't I ever think of that?

Yep. They may adjust the bonus, but I doubt the ring offers resistance to physical damage.
