"Not in a single bound, I think... but I suppose we'd get there eventually. What were you planning, smacking it with a size XL mallet?"

OOC: How high is that tripod anyway? Toad has a 62' high jump.

"Well, if I can get up on the side of the cockpit, I think I can get inside it, no breaking necessary. It'll be tricky. Can you get up that high?"

Pandora is running through the scenario in her mind. The idea of hanging on the side of that thing, that high up, is already making her palms sweat. In preparation, she conjures up a giant suction-cup with a length of rope attached to it.

OOC: The legs are 60 feet, the cockpit is another ten feet tall.

With his escort taking off with Pandora, B&S will do his best to stay under cover and move back towards the rest of the group so that he can be prepared to help anyone that falls.

"Well, no time to waste. Hop on, and try to grab something when we get there. I'll see if I can get to the bottom of the cockpit at least. I'll try to cushion our fall if you miss, but I can't promise anything."

OOC: Jumping for a satellite dish or something on the cockpit. Grabbing for it too. Worst case, the tongue comes out.

Gun Monkey takes his shot, "Time for some medicine Doc."

OOC: Spend a hero point to Power Attack for -5/+5 with his normal attack, so +9, Autofire (+1 to dmg per 2 over DC to hit, max +5), +15 DMG (DC 30 toughness)
OOC: I'll update the round tonight, but i wanted to make sure I am judging this right. With autofire, how many shots do you get per round. I can't seem to find anything in the book that spells out the number.

OOC: That is actually rather nebulous. It is one attack that can either do more damage bases on how much your attack roll hits by or you can "spread" and autofire out to hit multiple targets. Actual number of shots used fired isnt really a mechanic listed. I keep track of ammo as per the real world gun if its equipment (usually 6-9 shots or 'bursts') Since Gun Monkey's Pistols are powers. They generally shouldnt run out of ammo unless it is a Complication (power packs running low)

OOC: I've never read anything about hitting multiple targets. As per the power, it's simply you hit multiple times in the round, for a bit more damage. I figure the autofire is likely a quicker blast so he can get off a few shots, hitting more for more damage. However, mechanicly it works exactly as I said, the net damage is the DC + 1 per 2 points you hit above the target DC to hit, max of 50% increase, or +5, whichever is lower.

Gun Monkey pulls the trigger on his blaster. The laser reaches out, tagging the walker three times. Smoke continues to billow out of the walker and it appears crippled, emitting a nasty groan. Roughneck turns and strides towards the nearest clump of bugs. He is able to slam three into scrap iron before running out of close targets. Toad makes his leap, but finds himself falling short as a result of being weighed down. his toungue whips forward, catching around a satellite dish. Body and spirit scarambe forward between cover, cringing at the precariious situation Toad and Pandora are in. Null's voice comes over the loud speakers.
“No! You ’ve ruined everything! ”, he screams into the microphone.
“You think you’ve defeated me? Savor your little moment of triumph while you can. ” The heroes notice that the eye sensors of all of the remaining bots and half of the disabled bots start flashing.
Now you will see the price of opposing me! That self-destruct signal will cause the power cores in my Bugbots to overload until they explode! In moments, this bridge
will burn as a fiery monument to my genius,a pyre to light the very heavens! And there’s nothing you can do to stop it! The world will remember the name Dr Null!

Suddenly, the cockpit of Dr. Null's walker takes off, shooting high into the air, and finally plunging into the cold water.

Toad and pandora are left hanging onto the husk that is left behind. It begins to creak and get unsteady.
OOC: Thanks for the advice on the autofire it makes sense now.
