Communities: n/a; the tribes that pay homage to Uxfrea don’t have any traditional communities of their own. Instead, in the summer they typically gather around the many ruined forts, towns and villages spread across the Helik Peninsula. During the coldest winter months, the tribes retreat to five major caves spread across the peninsula: Bleak Den (pop. – 2,695), Hellhead Cave (pop. – 4,275), Lonegrotto (pop. – 3,430), The Red Sanctuary (pop. – 5,300), Rockledge Hollow (pop. – 4,570).
Fortifications: Unknown.
Provinces: Five allied caves of giants (mainly ogres) and other non-humanoids and a dozen smaller (hidden) caves.

Aniki Shara
Proper Names: Caer Huuth, The Lost Lands of Aniki Shara

Government: Ancient (unknown; maybe a republic). Now (varies; primarily clan & tribal cultures).
Capital: n/a
Communities: Huuth (ancient city [ruined]); five other ruined ancient, coastal towns. At its height, Aniki Shara’s total city & town population was believed to have been around 18,000 to 19,000 people of various origins.
DM’s Note: Currently, Aniki Shara doesn’t have any true settled communities. Those that live in the region are migratory with dozens of small, mobile camps that follow the herds of elk and caribou with the changing seasons. The closest thing to villages/hamlets in Aniki Shara are dozens of old bridges and roadhouses built by those who have tried to tame the region.​
Fortifications: There are two major ancient fortresses that lie in ruins and are known to be haunted. The are no other known major fortifications in Aniki Shara today, although the snow goblins of the region often hold up in hidden caves or old abandoned mines from the time of the Black Wars. There are numerous old abandoned towers from that same time period, but those structures are not very defensible.
Provinces: n/a; it is not known if Aniki Shara had political provinces, but markings in Huuth do show that there was a strong political system for the ancient land.
Resources: Divine magic (primarily shamanism), fruits, hunters/rangers, phosphorous, and sailors.
Coinage: Unknown. It isn’t known if the peoples of Aniki Shara used currency. Scholars who have studied the ancient ruins of the Aniki Peninsula have yet to find any evidence of coin-based commerce. The varied peoples living in Aniki Shara today tend to use barter for trade.
