I mentioned previously that Pathfinder was coming to Fantasy Grounds. That happened last week, meaning that the Virtual Table Top is now an official licensee, and the first batch of products, including the Core Rules, Bestiary, Kingmaker adventure path, and more are already available. FG's head honcho Doug Davison said that "they've been very strong sellers so far, supplanting the official D&D add-ons that normally dominate our Weekly Top Sellers list in the first day. It is customary for a new release to have a spike as interest and hype are the highest at this stage; however, most third-party products still fail to dislodge D&D from the top seller list. This will be an interesting metric to watch as they go head to head and especially as new products launch for both publishers at the same time."
Today is the final day to enter the 2017 Gen Con EN World RPG Awards! For those publishers who want to wait until the last minute, your last minute is nigh! Any package with a postmark dated after today, May 8, 2017, can not be accepted and any e-submission received after today, May 8, 2017, can not be accepted. Gen Con 50 will be one of the largest crowds yet, let’s make this year’s awards memorable! The ENnies are the premiere RPG awards program, presented live at Gen Con every year.

O.L.D. is fully compatible with N.E.W., and other WOIN (What's OLD is NEW) roleplaying games, so you can mix and match to your heart's content!
Turn Order: Warped, the official stream of the WOIN roleplaying game system, is back with a new episode! What's Predation? It's a campaign setting for Monte Cook Games' Cypher System, written by Shanna Germain. Set a few hundred years in the future, time travellers send scientists to the Cretaceous period ... who become stranded there! Technology and dinosaurs mix! The setting will be available for pre-order soon. In the meantime, writer Shanna Germain has posted a quick look at the book's introduction, which you can see below. I think most of us can agree that dinosaurs are, indeed, awesome.

RISE OF THE DUNGEON MASTER - Gygax's Story In A Graphic Novel

For those who are interested in the history of Dungeons & Dragons, this graphic novel tells the story of Gary Gygax, co-creator of the game. By David Kushner, incorporating information from interviews with both Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson, and will be available on May 9th. I haven't seen it myself (I'm pre-ordering it though). "Rise of the Dungeon Master tells, in graphic form, the story of Gary Gygax, co-creator of Dungeons & Dragons, one of the most influential games ever made. Like the game itself, the narrative casts the reader into the adventure from a first person point of view, taking on the roles of the different characters in the story."
Kickstarter went down during the last hour of the A Touch of Class campaign, meaning that some people were unable to back the project. Additionally, some people are unable to use Kickstarter's payment processor. If you are having trouble getting your card recognised by Kickstarter's payment processor, we have an alternative set up at Chronicle City. Additionally, if you tried to pledge in the last hour of the Kickstarter and were unable because Kickstarter was down (yeah, great timing, I know) this is an opportunity to sneak in a pledge. Again, you'll have to be quick. Click here or on the image below.
This supplement, over on EN5ider, the 5E patreon, is the fourth part of the ZEITGEIST Player's Guide for 5E. In these pages you will find setting and background information on the ZEITGEIST campaign setting, and the nations of Risur and Ber, encompassing land and culture, major cities, race, religion, and government. Learn about fey and the mortal realms, the Sword of Black Needles, the fey titans, the Ursalina Bear Games, The Tyrant's Eye, and more! By Ryan Nock.
It looks like we know what another of the four unnamed accessories coming this year are! As you may recall, the first turned out to be a book of character sheets; the second, it now transpires, is a new DM Screen coming out September 8th (likely the 19th for non-preferred stores' as that's the date they list for one of the unnamed accessories). This is listed as coming from WotC rather than Gale Force 9. WotC's Nathan Stewart revealed the screen, along with the following photograph -- "On sale at your FLGS Sept 8. That is the DM Screen Reincarnated" I've updated the D&D Release Schedule page accordingly.
Pelgrane Press, known for its narrative games like Hillfolk and its collection of story-games, Seven Wonders, is releasing an anthology of 34 mini-RPGs written by feminist authors from 11 different countries. These "nano-games", collected in the book #Feminism, are typically playable in under an hour, making them ideal for one-shots. Pelgrane has kindly sent along some previews of the book, which you can see below. With games like Mentioning the Unmentionables by Sweden's Kajsa Greger ("Three games about the anatomy of women: "Dances With Vulvas", "Dying for a Cup of Coffee", and "Just Put Some Salt on It"), Shoutdown to Launch by America's Jason Morningstar ("In this game about gendered interruption, a bunch of engineers need to fix a problem with a rocket engine in the dwindling time before launch. It won’t go well."), 6016 by Norway's Elin Nilsen ("In 6016 the only historical source of the 21st century is a collection of clips from the soap opera Love, Lust and Lack of Trust."), and First Joyful Mystery by Ireland's Cathriona Tobin ("Players examine the impact Ireland’s prohibitive abortion laws have on people who find themselves pregnant."), each game has an intensity rating from 1-5.
There's just three days left to go if you plan to back the A Touch of Class Kickstarter and get yourself a softcover book containing 7 new 5th Edition classes and 19 bonus PDFs which contain 45 new subclasses between them (they're listed below). Meet the full alchemist, cardcaster, diabolist, feywalker, morph, noble, and occultist classes for your 5E games in this 70-page book! The Kickstarter ends this week, and the book will be going out to backers immediately, so make sure you get in before it closes, as there won't be the opportunity to back it afterwards. We have over 2,000 amazing backers as we close in on the end - thank you to everybody!

The first Starfinder adventure path, launching in August along with the core rules, is the Dead Suns AP. Following the same model as Paizo's Pathfinder adventure paths, it's a 6-module series. The first adventure is called Incident at Absalom Station, and here's a look at the cover by David Alvarez, depicting the leader of a notorious street gang on Absalom Station! The Dead Suns AP will be released every other month (taking 12 months in total), and each adventure contains a new planet, a new starship, and new monsters.
Rich Baker over at Sasquatch Game Studios has sent along an exclusive preview of some concept work for Alterity's "The Shipyard" sourcebook (which is a companion volume included in the currently running Alternity RPG Kickstarter). This page spread shows a Tebenkov-Class Survey Cruiser, including the vessel's stats and description. The Alternity RPG Kickstarter has another 10 days left to run, and has already funded, so it's starting to take aim at a number of stretch goals.
A bit of D&D history! Frank Mentzer (TSR, Dungeons & Dragons, creator of the RPGA) shared the following anecdote regarding an alternate cover for D&D's Red Box set which never came to be. The art was by Larry Elmore and featured more than the single fighter and dragon we're familiar with. The art is actually for sale you would need to contact Frank directly via Facebook or email if you're interested.
