Martial Power fighter combo

I was reading through the new feats, and it looks like you could put together a pretty crazy combo as an at-will attack. It does require paragon tier, though. The combo is:

Dragonborn fighter wielding spear and shield.
Tide of Iron at-will attack: 1[W] + str, push the target 1 square
Spear Push feat: Push the target an extra square
Polearm Momentum feat: Knock the target prone (because you pushed it 2 squares)
Draconic Arrogance feat: Deal an extra 2x str modifier damage (once for pushing the target, once for knocking it prone)

So you now have an at-will attack which is effectively:
Hit: 1[W] + 3x str modifier, push the target 2 squares and knock it prone

There is a one handed polearm?

what scares me more is the shock trooper Paragon (pg34) when you wield an offhand weapon increase the weapon's damage die by one size.

Urgosh, in a dwarven tempest fighters hands.

2d6 on the one end, 1d10 on the other since both ends take on the off hand property.

Tempest Technique You get two weapon defense free.
If you wear light or chain armor you gain +1 to damage with melee and close if using the urgrosh, but it increases to +2 because the weapon has off-hand on both ends.

So You basically wear chain, get +2 to AC because you use a defensive urgosh and have two weapon defense, on par with heavy shield, at 11th your primary hand is doing 2d6 and offhand 1d10, both at +2 damage and 2 more for dwarven weapon training (to get hte urgrosh in the first place)

Despite the Name, it works with polearms AND spears. :)

But I don't think you can apply the feat twice for one attack. That would be like getting twice the damage from "Astral Fire" if you use a power that has both the Radiant and Fire keywords.

Ahh the long description mentioned spear the short in the table did not, thanks!

Oh yeah I forgot about my example above with the urgrosh, when you take your epic D, if you go for Eternal Defender, at 24 your Urgrosh becomes a 2d8 primary hand 1d12 offhand weapon, still with your +2 damage per side from being tempest in chain, on top of now having reach from the ability as well.

Heck I may have to make one of those guys for LFR.

Yeah double weapons are really wonky because both sides share the same types (spear/axe; light and heavy blade; off-hand;...).

Compared to your example, no tempest fighter should ever use two short-swords...

Wow... and I thought they learned their lesson from 3E and tried to balance things this time...

Polearm momentum seems ridicously overpowerd...
