[Recruiting, Greyhawk] OSRIC 2.0 Game (Has 2 Players, Needs 2-4 More)

How are we running starting money and spells?

Well I assumed that we would randomly generate money based on OSIRIC amounts. I hope thats not a problem.

I imagine that a multiclass would take the most favourable (which is 3d6+2*10 for a fighter-class). I noted that in OSRIC 10s.p.=1g.p. something to keep in mind.

Most prices are identical between OSIRIC 1 and 2 (which has a more complete list of gear) but I noticed that rations are waaay more expensive in 2. And both are waaaaaaaaaaaay more expensive then in 1e.
What price should I be paying? or are we just going with a 100gp a month cost upkeep cost or something like that to cover those things?

Actually, I'm going to allow max starting money.

Wonderful, and I rolled max starting money too. That makes things easy.

Three questions:
1. How are we doing HP?
2. Are we useing Non-weapon proficiencies/secondary skills? (I don't see anything like this in OSRIC 2 but I could be missing something.)
3. Can I use a Trident one-handed?

Now that I have a name for my character I'll be sure to use that in any future dice rolls.

Here is the updated version of Gorak:

1. Max for first level, ¾ for each level thereafter.
3. No, and you aren't overlooking anything.
3. Yes, with a -2 penalty on your To Hit.

Also, I've given it some thought and your characters will ned to be able to get around.

You get the following equipment for free:
2 Chest (empty)
1 Horse Cart
1 Horse (palfrey)
1 Reins, bit and bridle

Thanks modifications have been made. I'll type up some background thoughts soon.
The only things I really know about Greyhawk and Verbobonc is that a road from Hommlet leads to Verbobonc. This should make things more fun.

And I'm OK with my extremely young (15) character knowing almost no history, and nothing about culture. (Cha of 5 after all.)

I'm assuming that this is for the whole group?

Character Concept thoughts:

Gorak was born to a lowly servant in a merchants house. His mother died young of one of the inumerable diseases that chronically affect the poor.

Initial Gorak was put to hard labour because of his great strength. This further help to develop him into the muscle-bound monstrosity that he is today. Eventually the merchant (Tobias) decide to have him trained as a body guard. A short time ago Tobias was killed . . .

Every character gets these items free of charge.

Sounds good.
