[sblock=ooc]I don't mind. I thought the black dragon in the MM had unlimited tail-swats to hit the pcs that miss him. He's a solo monster, so there should be something to do for everyone.
Still, I think being attacked for *anything* is a unique power. Fun, and I like him, but perhaps a limit to either one (recharge 50%, 4, 5,6, would be good, perhaps). Minor tweaks, but we're playtesting! [/sblock]

And, with a wave of his hand, keeps the Flaming Sphere on Clint.

Also, I'm not sure I understand Flaming Sphere. The description says any creature adjacent at the start of the turn takes damage. But it also says that it targets one creature. Will Erlai take damage at I13 if the next round starts with Erlai and the sphere in their current positions?[/sblock]

Erlai does get a flanking benefit from Drivan.

Finnian attempts to stop Vaunea, while Erlai attacks Cousin Eustace. Once again, the hawk savages the halfling.
Cousin Eustace looks the worse for it. (11 damage; Cousin Eustace is bloodied.)
Cousin Eustace covers his head with his arm, attempting to shield himself from the bird. "Ahquait! Y'wain! Y'wain! Y'pruv'dyaerselves!"
"Oh, thank the Gods," says Marco, "He says that he quits! You've won! You've proved yourselves!"

Finnian gives a sharp whistle and Erlai breaks off from Eustace and wheels around to land gracefully on the half-elf's outstretched left arm. A more careful inspection reveals that some extra padding has been inexpertly added to his leather armor on the left forearm, which apparently works because Finnian doesn't seem to flinch when the hawk grabs hold to perch on this arm. Finnian coos and whispers softly to the bird, momentarily ignoring the people around him. Erlai then leaps to the air again to alight on a tree in the garden where he has a good view of both Finnian and Cousin Eustace.
Finnian checks Vaunea to make sure she looks alright after being tossed around by the halfling, and quickly decides that the minotaur doesn't look any worse for having landed on him than Finnian feels for having been landed upon.
Well done there, old man. Never would've thought you could flip that big girl, gesturing at Vaunea, around like you did. Suprised me, for sure, you did. Gotta hand it to you, Eustin, you're quite a handful... despite appearances.
Finnian holds out his hand with a huge silly grin. He takes the halfling's one hand and pumps it vigorously.
Quite a tussle there. Had me going for a second, and thought you were lookin to hurt somebody.
He thumbs towards Erlai, still watching carefully from the tree.
Sorry about the bird, but he doesn't like it when huge she-things get thrown on top of me there. Can't do much about it, really. Sure you understand, no?
Finnian now takes notice of Hadarai and the drawn sword pointing at Eustace. He reaches out to put a hand on Hadarai's sword hand.
Well now, there's no need for that anymore, is there? We're done with our little fun, no harm here. Austin here is a scrappy one, I'll say. I dare say, I could learn a thing or two from him about brawling.
Turning back to Eustace and ignoring Hadarai, Finnian grabs the halfling's hand again and shakes to with renewed enthusiasm.

Finnian tries to recreate the judo-like flip that Eustace applied to Vaunea by pulling the halfling's hand that he is still holding and mock attempts the flip, clearly not thinking about the social situation at all but replaying the skirmish in his head...

Drivan tries to dodge the finger jab at his eyes, trying to stick his hand in front of his face but he moves to slow and he grunts in pain as he stumbles backwards slightly. Clutching at his eyes he mutters a few choice curse words. Frost begins to coalesce around his fist as he clenches it tightly and faces in the general direction of cousin Eustace. After hearing the halfling’s surrender he slowly allows the frost to melt, relaxing his fist.
