Ah thanks it is PFRPG based rather than 3.5 SRD based then? As I say there is no way for me to browse through this thread (without losing my sanity) 'cos of ENW slowness and there is a lack of info on the actual website about whether it is PFRPG or 3.5....

...cooooooooooool you get a free copy for DLing the final preview! Nice deal, although (as I wasn't really involved in the discussion here until now) I'll buy a copy anyway if it is not too steep :)

Just wanted to let folks know they should keep an eye out for one last preview I'll be posting at RPGnow-- if you have been looking forward to Trailblazer, you definitely don't want to miss it...

Awesome preview. The best of Mythic Heroes and Grim Tales skimmed off and made into an icing to top off 3.5 or PF and make them so much tastier.

As always great work Wulf. Can't wait to see the whole thing in a few weeks.

this can't be right

From the final preview:

In appreciation of your enthusiasm and support, each of you who downloads
this final preview from RPGnow will receive a free copy of the final Trailblazer
PDF.

What? Really?

Whoa, seriously? We get a free copy of the pdf? Will we be notified when its available?

I still plan on buying a print copy, but this will definitely alleviate the 'gotta get it now!' feeling until I get the funds.

EDIT: Nevermind on the notification thing, that'll teach me to not read everything before I post.

I haven't decided yet. It won't be steep.

 Hrm. I feel you rather underestimate the importance of APs. ;)

Icing? Icing?

Yeah, really.

Yeah as I said I'll still pay 'cos I wouldn't geel right taking it for free!

Only if you insist.

If everything works according to plan (and RPGnow thinks it will...) then everyone will get an email from me with a download link to your free copy. There are bound to be some hiccups. Be patient.

I will build a little more profit into the print version. If you like the PDF and want to show your appreciation, buy the print version.

When I say, "little profit," I mean little. This isn't a profit venture, but of course it's always nice to recover some of my art costs. (If not, Merry Christmas, fellow gamers.)

The print version is probably going to lag the PDF by a little bit-- this will give me a last chance to incorporate any comments from PDF readers as well make sure that anything outstanding that absolutely must be reconciled with Pathfinder can be. I definitely don't want early adopters (especially of the print version) to have an "inferior" version.

The print version will be available through Amazon POD.

Trailblazer is based on the 3.5 SRD but is fully compatible with Pathfinder. It is not a Pathfinder-branded product but much of it was designed with Pathfinder in mind (or at least Pathfinder is on our minds).

Icing? Icing?

I hope I don't. APs in TB have added a huge new flexibility for the DM and players to enhance gameplay. They are an integral part of the game now, not just an add-on.

And come on, icing makes everything better, and is often the best part.;)

But seriously, I was very pleases to see Mythic Heroes elements worked into the APs. I really liked the concept behind it but my players found it a little cumbersome. I am hopefull this will help those ideas become better integrated for them.
