Rainbow Servant Question

In a campaign I am playing in, I am about to take a level in the rainbow servant class. However I dislike the couatle theme so the DM is allowing me to change it.

I would like to include the fate and planning domains though I am fine with keeping the air domain for the wings.

Can anyone think up an appropriate outside that would work with those domains?

Take a look at Mechanus, the plane of Law, may be you'll find some interesting outsider I saw one in MM4 or 5 but I don't remember the name (he got wings too).

The zelekhut (the mechanical winged centaur-looking one) is an inevitable from Mechanus in core; you might want to try that one.

All things considered, it might just not fly.

What are some good domains that I could work in with a solar as the base?
I mean, planning is just too useful to give up, but what else? What spells or abilities would also be useful to a wizard who gains them?

Keep in mind that the rainbow servant PrC was heavily nerfed in the errata.

Other than that, why do you not like the Coatll? Just go with like 'Feathered servant' and worship phoenix instead...they are powerful magical creatures with the right sort of domain affinities.

It would be really helpful to know what the OP's goals are. If you just want wings and to pick your own deity, there's always Favored Soul.
