Giant weresloths are not typically aggressive, but they are violent when roused. Unimaginative combatants, they prefer to rush into melee, usually remembering to change into animal or hybrid for the fight. In giant form, they fight with weapons and thrown rocks, while their strong instinct in sloth form is to pin down and trample their opponent.
I'm not entirely sure that (were)sloths should rush into anything. ;)

Although 'they prefer to amble into melee' is just wrong. :D

Well we're presuming they don't have sluggish metabolisms like a tree sloths. I'm guessing they were about as lively as, say, a wombat.

I suppose we could use "hustle", "hurry" or "lope" if you don't like "rush".

Of the three I prefer 'lope' but don't feel that you need to change anything on my account. We are after all talking about a magical creatyre after all. Let's face it if lycanthropy can change a creature's physical appearance, it can also give it a mental prod to make it more energetic which the ground sloth may well have been anyway.

Sorry that was a bit of a ramble.

Yup. Anyone have ideas for the flavor text?

A giant beastman at least twice as tall as a human. A thick pelt of hair almost buries its hulking body and huge forearms. The creature has a long, sheep-like head, with dull eyes peering out through its hair. Its jaws are unimpressive, with small and blunt teeth, but its hands are armed with enormous, curved claws.

In giant form, these weresloths usually look like ordinary hill giants with exceptionally long hair, tangled with branches, filth and other detritus. They prefer to live in wooded hills, using caves for shelter. Their culture is primitive even for a hill giant. Giant weresloths normally dress in skins and crudely woven kilts or ponchos.

Yep, looks great!

Update your working draft, please, and I'll transfer it to Homebrews.

Updated Working Draft.

We hadn't talked about skills.

A Hill Giant's skill ranks are Climb 3, Jump 3, Listen 3, Spot 6, we gave our Mylodon Listen 5 and Spot 6 (upon reflection I'd prefer it with a higher Listen than Spot, but I'm guessing we can't be bothered reworking the Homebrew).

So, I think I'll make the Giant Weresloth's skill ranks Climb 5, Jump 3, Listen 6, Spot 9 for the Weresloth.

I can be bothered. :)

That being the case, reverse the Listen and Spot ranks for the giant weresloth?
