OOC: @H.M.Gimlord the bodyguard's stat block makes it sound like it auto marks targets next to them at the end of its turn, but Draglin was not next to a bodyguard. Would he still trigger its ability?

OOC: Since dimsdale has rolled a save against the ongoing damage, does that mean Max's turn has happened? I'd be willing to try to heal him once the ongoing damage falls off, although that task might be better suited to someone with a healing potion or a positive wisdom modifier.

Grr... was going to AP when my first attack hit (needed a 7 or better) to do a bunch of damage, but missed. Guess I'll Second Wind with it instead.

Make sure you don't move next to Astrix until Max isn't next to him or the close burst might kill him dead/drop him again!

Serras is in O6, while adjacent to him enemies grant CA to all PCs, PCs gain +1 defenses.

Sure, you can assume that Max's turn is delayed until last if necessary. In this case, until dimsdale makes his death save, he is not marked.

ooc: hmmm....now I'm confused. I wait until the end of everyone's turn, then make my death saving throw? Also, how does the healing work from Serras. If Max makes a succesful save, is made then Max gets the healing?

OOC: Pretend as though your initiative was after Seraph's (she healed you BTW, Serras is her tiger :) ). The heal is an item-granted minor-action heal, nothing special about it. When your turn starts you've been healed a healing surge, then take the ongoing damage, leaving you at 6hp and prone. No death save required because you weren't dying at the start of your turn.

GM: [MENTION=79956]dimsdale[/MENTION]: Iron Sky is right. My post was kind of cryptic. It really didn't depend on your death save. I was simply pointing that out as an excuse to allow you to wait until Max's allies had a chance to act.

The comment about being marked was simply made to remind everyone that the bodyguard's mark on Max doesn't take effect until the end of his turn.

Sorry about the confusion.
