Far Shot (Feat) and Accuracy (Spell)

Far Shot increases your range increments by 1.5 (multiply by 1.5)
Accuracy (spell from Complete Arcane) increases your range increments by 2.(multiply by 2)

Do they stack?
If so, how?
Should I 'add' the additions (as is the case for other stacking multipliers) or do they multiply:
addition: (1.5-1=)+0.5 + (2-1=)1 = +1.5 = multiply range increments by 2.5
or
multiplication: 1.5*2=3=multiply range increments by 3.

According to the SRD, when applying multipliers to real-world values (such as weight or distance), the multipliers are multiplied with each other. Range increments count as distance.

Umm, yeah... so?

The only thing I can think of is Dandu thinks the OP wants Far Shot to work with a spell, which it wouldn't for typical spells like Fireball.

However, since the Accuracy spell says "When you cast this spell, you enhance one or more thrown weapons or one projectile weapon to improve its chance of hitting distant targets. For the duration of the spell, the range increment for the affected weapon or weapons is doubled" they do interact since both target a physical weapon.

And as Dozen said, real value measurements like weight and distance are multiplied with standard math, not D&D math. Thus it'd be 1.5 (Far Shot) x 2 (Accuracy) for x3 distance.

I know it hasn't been truly asked, but if one wanted to make a sniper type of character it might go something like the first post on the page at http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=209186&page=2.

Note that the Accuracy spell hadn't been considered, so it's entirely possible that the character can shoot a target over 2 miles away.

The way I see it is that you'd take the base range increment of the weapon, then apply the x 1.5 mod from the feat, then apply the x2 mod from the spell. This is because the feat is always active, and the spell is a temporary bonus granted via magic.

So, you take your Longbow (range of 100 ft) and apply your 1.5 mod from the feat and get a range of 150 ft, then apply the spell mod and equal 300 ft range increments.
