Were all limited resources as well.
Right, cause resting 8 hours before your world-altering Godlike power recharges in full is such a nuisance.
Or you can just cast Rope Trick.
Were all limited resources as well.
Well you can let yourself out. The rest of us will continue discussing pew pew magic.
Is there a reason why you can't call it cantrips or at-will magic?
I don't think you even know what you are trying to do here.
I could but I just don't want to.
I pretty explicitly stated the point of what I was doing; that is, get infinite Wishes with using very few spell slots.
Step 1: Cast gate, gate in an Efreeti.
Step 2: Use the first two Wishes however I want.
Step 3: Wish for a Candle of Invocation.
Step 4: Occasionally use 2, or all 3, Wishes on Candles of Invocation.
Step 5: Repeat until I have about 3 Bags of Holdings worth of Candles.
Step 6: Use Candles whenever I need Wishes granted.
Material Cost: 1 Level 9 spell slot, the components needed to cast Gate once.
Because coming up with some lame pejorative nickname really helps your cause.
Maybe the 2 other people who share your opinion can come up with something better.
Whether or not you or the candle casts Gate the same rules still apply. When the Efreet comes in the DM can still say it requires a task, service, or payment in order for the Efreet to grant you the wishes.
You are still going to be in the same boat.

A controlled creature can be commanded to perform a service for you. Such services fall into two categories: immediate tasks and contractual service. Fighting for you in a single battle or taking any other actions that can be accomplished within 1 round per caster level counts as an immediate task; you need not make any agreement or pay any reward for the creature’s help. The creature departs at the end of the spell.
Kind of funny how you try and place me as the only one who doesn't really care for at will spells.
