Star Wars Saga/D&D 5th Hybrid [OOC/Rolls]

Not modded, it's a standard carbine. I believe this is one of the things that might have fallen in the cracks during the crash, as the gand has been using autofire on that carbine ever since he got it (against the Rakata most notably)? We even had a discussion with Sezarious on how to make it *belt-fed* autofire. :D

EDIT: Also, just checked and the Saga carbine is most definitively autofire as well...

Maybe it was lost between reposting the rules? Nope, just checked and it never was listed in the original rules either. Dang, would have changed my actions a bit over the last few rounds. Oh well...

Although one of the things that gave me pause was the -5 to the attack roll and the fact that most feats don't affect the attack or damage rolls and you don't add DEX to the damage. Still, could have been useful against the group of sith soldiers we have been facing.

So if you flub your Bonus recover, you can still attempt your Action recover but at a disadvantage?

(Str? You mean Wis, right?)

no Str or Con... I can see the case for Wisdom and I might use that but for now I want to leave it at those two until I consider it some more.

I think I am going to rule that you have to declare if you are using your action or not BUT there are talents that let you use your Reaction, which I would allow...

Aw crap (pardon my french). I'd forgotten about that in the excitment... Corrected.

So after all that that's probably 11 points of damage, assuming the blast *did* dissipate some of that smoke and he/she's not at a disadvantage after all... Wow. Well, at least they're reeling, assuming Devastating attack still works? (It's not adding either to attacking or damage).

Oh damn, I didn't even notice that hadn't been applied. Sorry to burst the bubble. I only noticed it because I wanted to put together an autofire focused character, but the penalties really kind of made the concept not viable at lower levels.

so @GreenKarl, just for clarification, a blaster carbine does or does not have autofire capability? We've been playing as if it did have it, but the rule set you supplied does not include it. Just want to know all my options.

Are we talking the original Saga rules? I based most of the weapons from those rules and there the Carbine did have autofire (listed under their Rate of Fire as S, A which was single or autofire). Did I make a mistake in the other thread? I have not updated the one from the Star Wars (Trek) rules section since the big site blow up...

Yea crap (hehe) they were suppose to have autofire on there as I had based them off the Saga rules. I wonder if when I went in to update the Stun damage rules that I might have deleted them. My fault

Note we are still resolving Round 3, so you already shot at the droids this round. Next round (after badguys actions) we will use those actions and rolls.

I don't think the Gand attacked yet. Cal shot at the droid, though. The Gand moved and then Readied an action, from what I can tell.
