If we get 6, the devil plays his hand.

I wouldn't call the mods the devil but yeah I wouldn't be surprised if we're real close to having all the psion threads collapsed by the mods into one big jumbled thread. I appreciate your passion for this concept (I really do, even if I don't agree with it), but I think it's become a bit over the top to the point where you may do more harm to your cause than good. But, what do I know?

I think “WotC will likely be making a dedicated Psion class” is a pretty radical interpretation of these tweets. All he actually says is that they haven’t closed the door on the option, which reads more to me like an attempt to let folks who want a dedicated Psion class down easy, rather than a statement that it is by any means likely.

Possibly a Idiot.
It's mostly an attempt to head off all the negative feedback that the Psionic Wizard will get because "The Psion/Mystic is not a Wizard!!" And get some normalized results instead of the double extra hate that Wizard subclasses tend to gather by suggesting doing something that another class can also do.

I mean, obviously, it's not a Psion, nor is the the only psionic/arcane caster hybrid in the works (yes there is already the Aberant Mind for those who want a Sorcerer Subclass, you don't need to tell them to make one, again) but not everyone is paying attention to that fact.

This is my first time posting a thread on this topic.

Yeah, I think this shows it is still on their drawing board and radar for development, but it is phrased in a way to suggest that we shouldn't expect it anytime soon

Then again, Crawford is an amazing poker player, and this might just be a way to encourage focus on the Subclass content for feedback, and we'll see a full Mystic in January.
