My advice to you is wait 2 years, then run it.

Why wait 2 years? Because someone will fix it for you!

A lot of the adventure paths have significant structural problems. For example, from the excellent Alexandrian:

(skipping ahead)

Does that sound like a good adventure to you? It does not to me. However the basic adventure premise is such a cool concept! What to do? Well he fixed it :)

He's done the same for a few others of the adventure path. I know others have written guidance on how to run the other adventure paths. This is a great resource. But it won't be available immediately to you. Just be patient :)

I second the idea of waiting until the Alexandrian Remix.

Anyway, I suspect they'll get plenty of chances to supplement that diet via whatever (or whoever) the PCs kill in the course of their adventures.
I was thinking along the same lines.

I wonder if polar bears serve as Yeti repellant?

I'm pretty sure they'll serve as sled dog and axebeak repellent. One of the party's first logistical issues will be finding a good parking spot when they go into town, especially until they have the beasts tamed.

I’m finding it a bit hard to follow due to the format, but he’s been going on at length about the good parts and the bad parts on Twitter.

I’m hoping he’ll at least compile his thoughts in an article, even if he doesn’t do a full-on remix.
In his Patreon he's already summarizing some of his thoughts as pdfs. I don't know if this means he'll do a full on remix, or just piecemeal mods.

Blistering Barnacles!
Pretty fun - running mash up of Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil and SKT. Only 2 PCs = trouble in the moathouse dungeon, one of the PCs was killed then revived then killed again. Good place to stop.

Wish I could DM longer sessions like the old days, these days around three and a half hours is my limit. I'd like to go longer but kind of run out of gas!

wrong thread ... obviously 🙄

I had no idea he was on twitter - I will have to look it up!

Thank you.

And wow, this is BAD
How few fucks were given? Page 18: "When the characters reach 4th level, they ... also learn about new adventure opportunities outside Ten-Towns, as described in chapter 2." Chapter 2: "By the time the characters reach 3rd level...

or
Quest-Giver: "I followed Torg's caravan for 10 days." PCs: "So where is it now?" QG: "I have no idea."

QG followed them for 10 days, became convinced they were the killer, and then... left and went to a completely different town? So that they could sit in a tavern and stare at strangers until randomly deciding which one they would ask to go kill somebody on their laughable say-so?

ugh

Check out his thoughts on Velynne Harpell.

He pointed out there’s a section in the adventure where she gets plot armor and can’t be killed due to her importance to the adventure.

He also comments on the ridiculousness of expecting players not to immediately attack an obvious necromancer.
