D&D 5E 20th level Sorcerer vs the world

The Sorcerer level 20 regains 4 per short rest. It's 80 Sorcery Points that can be turned into Spells Slots. The Simulacrum can also do it. It's a lot of spellcasting.

That's actually 64 SP (only 16 short rests, as you need 8 hours for a long rest). And you don't do anything but resting. Is it established that the sorcerer doesn't do anything except hiding in etherealness?

He can attack with or without simulacrum and can spend long periods fighting, since the non-detection spell keeps him hidden from divine magic.

Since they are not on the same planes, he is mostly fighting alone.

Elf trance 4 hours. So, It's 80 Sorcery Points. It also doesn't get exaustion If he doesn't sleep to get more spells slots, greater restoration spell solves the problem.
It isn't Etherealness, It's just a possibility for safe place to get a strategic alpha attack.

He trances for 4 hours, then does nothing for 4 hours, as a long rest is "a Long Rest is a period of extended downtime, at least 8 hours long, during which a character sleeps or performs light activity: reading, talking, eating, or standing watch for no more than 2 hours."

I don't understand what you meant, sorry? Is he casting Extended Etherealness (16h of Etherealness) or not?

It's acumulative (2 days of preparation means 176 Sorcery Points into Spells slots), he can prepare a destruction day and wreack havoc.
Etherealness can be used to infiltrate a fortness.

Binky watches intently as the sorcerers minions float by him, searching for whatever it is they are searching for, ignoring him completely. Blinky glances up and watches as the flying portion of the group passes 600+ feet over Binky's head. Once the sorcerer passes Binky by, Binky smiles. Two Delayed Blast Fireballs simultaneously detonate, incinerating the sorcerer, hand is Sim, both fall liflessly to the ground. The blasts blossum into a very nice Vin diagram, the whole group did not get hit by both blasts, but the important ones did. Binky quietly walks back into his house, thinking "Alfred and Rufus will enjoy this one.".

But some of those spells (the Extended ones) will be be finished before two days, so you'll have to recast them. The table I have provided took into account what was necessary to have the spell you mentionned active during the day, supposing you started at your maximum of 20 sorcery points. The ability you had on the day before to take short rest couldn't get your more SP, since it is assumed you start at your maximum.
Only the day you cast everything, your remaining slots are : 0/0/3/3/3/1/0/0/0. You have the time in the day to still take 11 short rests, 5 to get your SP back to 20 and use thoses to regain slots (at a price of 2 points for a 1st level slot up to 4 (your max slots) so 8 points, and 3 points for your 3 2nd-level slots (so 9 points), bringing you down to 3. Then you could could get back to 19 using 4 SR or 20 using 5 SR.

So, in a day where you start at your maximum and want to end up attacking something at the end of the day, you'd be at max spell slot (up to level 5), depleted spell slots for higher level as shown above (1/0/0/0) have 20 SP but... you'd have to do 10 SR after your LR. That's not a lot of adventuring time, as 62,5% of the time you'd be a sitting target. I'd advise anyone to avoid attacking your when you're at peak but rather during one of your plentiful SR. (There is a smarter way to prepare for a big day, but it will be your job to find it).

Please provide the regular assortment of spell cast to last the whole day on a regular day, so we can see what ther Sorc capabilities will be on a regular day, when it is probable NCEST will be attacked.

(PS: you really shouldn't attack a fortress by yourself since it would expose you to Legend Lore by making you legendsworthy).

No, it's a Coffeelock, because you can't select which day you will prepare, so you're preparing all the time. Coffeelock.
I beg disagree. I one day of destruction. A day of preparation. ^^

Will the Wizards be old at home or will they face this threat from the Bastion of Law Demigod?
