D&D 5E In a (hypothetical) Tales from the Yawning Portal 2, what are the adventures you would want updated for 5E?

I'd like to see some of the GM Pubs adventures updated. Particularly The Rod of Seraillian. And then there's one about awakening a living volcano in an old dwarf outpost. Good old-fashioned dungeons with unique twists.

Red Hand of Doom seems like an easy win for sales if converted to 5E. I’ve heard people rave about that adventure (never ran it myself though, but a quick read through left me impresssed).
Who were the main antagonists an orc, or ogre horde? Or just a group of invading humanoids? Never read through or played/ran it but browsed it. I as well have heard people say good things.

Tiamat cultists, the "Red Hand" is her blood red claw unholy symbol.

There are orcs and goblins, but the main horde is hobgoblins and Spawn of Tiamat as I recall. The spawn were a 3.5E form of Dragonborn (in a sense, but also different), a take on draconic "ish" races with a bunch of different versions in humanoid and non-humanoid forms. They took up a bunch of space in MM4 or MM5 for 3.5E (forget which and my books are not nearby to check).

Cheers :)

Thanks, that helps, not really what I'm looking for. Was looking for an orc horde I could possibly use as a model for 5E.

Well, to be honest with not a huge amount of work you could change the main horde to be orcish.

I used to have, but sold, a copy of Red Hand of Doom. The main bosses were all around a draconic theme due to Tiamat's influence, but all of the regular encounters could be swapped out. In 3.5 that would have entailed a bunch of work due to the size of stat blocks, but under 5E I think it would be easier to do.

Cheers :)
