Looks like Spelljammer and/or Planescape is back on the menu!

Because the entire point of your post was "Don't bother arguing with him, he has bad opinions, look at how unreasonable he is"
No it wasn't. I was just letting him know where you are coming from and your viewpoint, which I explained in that post. I disagree with your position as does he from his posts here. We view the game as more forgiving.
Seriously? This kind of sickens me and makes me wonder what your endgoal is here. Do you truly think it is appropriate to go around and dig up any positions you think I hold that are "bad" to discredit any conversation I ever have on this platform? These positions have nothing to do with the discussion, and your entire point seems to cut off a conversation by making me appear like some sort of bad actor who has bad opinions.
You and others have brought up things I have said in other past threads that were applicable to a current thread. Don't pretend you haven't. It's not a big deal when it happens. Don't act like I'm attacking you when I'm not.

Where as I think the "user playstyle" is more actually the way the game ended up being designed. I think my biggest problem with your phrasing is it makes it sound like the people who played the 4e monk and found it highly lacking, were just playing it wrong, and therefore the fault lies mainly on them. That is something I don't agree with. I think if that were the case, we would have more people explaining HOW to play it, but in general, we just find people saying that it doesn't work in the context of the game we received.
Actually, I mean quite the opposite: it is the job of a product designer to correctly anticipate, determine and react to actual user needs. Abstractly, if approached correctly, the 4E Monk will work, the math is there and I'm sure worked I'm WotC playtests. But like the Beastmaster, they failed to understand what people who liked the archetype would want, which is a significant failure on the part of the designers. Though less so than the toxic dumpster fire of the 3E Bard.

Which gets you up to about the toughest beings in the game, though I'm not sure you can mix the Shield and that Feat, even with the Thri-Kreen.

Nut to hit 30 requires some DM buy-in from magic items, with a focus on AC items over anything else.

I've seen some shenanigans with bladesinging combos during AL games.

The quick grab-bag of options I had upthread got to 26 without items. Heck, that's without wearing armor at all. With high Dex, you could even hold a crossbow or a sling in one of the hands and also do ranged attacks pretty well. 🤔 maybe use a whip in one of the hands for reach w/finesse.

You may be right about not being able to use Dual Wielder. Technically, it seems to read that you'd need a weapon in "each hand."

That could imply that the feat doesn't do anything for a thri-keen unless they're holding 4 weapons.

Okay, so it was more of a clarity issue than anything else. I think they likely did work out the math in the abstract, but failed to make a full accounting of the factors, which led to the disconnect between what they intended the 4e monk to be, and what we ended up receiving.

The problem is Max, nothing you brought up actually was relevant to the thread.

As @Parmandur's response to me about the post in question indicated, it was simply to provide context to him about your position. It wasn't an attack on you. Context matters. It helps people understand what is being said, which is why I have repeated that to you scores of times.

Oddly, I liked the 3E Bard.

I once had a DM semi-jokingly ban me from playing the class because I sorta unintentionally broke the game. It's been quite a few years, but I think at some point I picked up the Seeker of the Song PrC.

The issue was that my saves were (I think... I'm trying to remember from memory) based on performance checks. It wasn't very hard to push DCs into being extremely difficult because my skills could outpace save bonuses.

I vaguely remember having some ability which required enemy spellcasters to beat my performance check with a concentration check to be able to cast if they could hear me.

BBEG CoDzilla was beat to death by the lowly fighter while I sang about it.

I mean, even bay designed things can be fun, with friends and booze.
