Looks like Spelljammer and/or Planescape is back on the menu!

I am fairly certain that there is a stated cap, but to be honest that might be ossified 7 years of rulings...

It works well thst way. Anything beyond 40 is "I'm not letting you roll" stuff.

There's a cap of 30 for ability scores. Maybe that's what you're thinking of?

Ah Ty! If it has is tied to the UA think from most to least likely were looking at:

1. Generalised multiverse book.
2. Drastically altered Spelljammer (Crystal Spheres/Phlogiston gone for example) that nonetheless isn't quite Planesjammer.
3. Actual Planesjammer.
4. Spelljammer with non-drastic alterations and additions.

Well, it turns out that book will be a Critical role Adventure Path, which is rneat. You left off what seems most likely to me, straight up Spelljammer.

Well, the mystic went through several iterations, so I wouldn’t say it was only one attempt. Again though, I’m not saying another psion class couldn’t be more satisfying. I’m saying WotC isn’t going to pursue that, because the general audience is happy with the psionics we have.

I did. Well, less noisy and more darkness cast in a 30-foot sphere with several monsters about to attack them who can see through it and only one of the party accustomed capable of fighting in magical darkness (we decided to break for the night before combat started).

The general audience is oblivious. They don't know what they are missing. That's like saying 1800's folk were happy with the tech and health levels that they had. I'm mean sure that's true, but that doesn't mean that they wouldn't have been much happier living longer with much more convenience.

Maybe the general audience would be happier with a full psionic class. I still don’t think WotC is going to bother making another any time soon.

Annecdotal. The people with the actual data (WotC) say the general audience is satisfied. Either you believe them, or you believe they’re lying, in which case we have no way of knowing what the general audience thinks.

people are waiting on the books they will get hungry for class-related things soon so I suspect the time to ask will be over the next ua, personally, it is more I feel people do not know they want something.
