D&D 5E On the Necessity for More Bard Threads

True story. The origin of the word Bard can be traced back to the middle ages when people would go to the local bar, get skunk drunk, start singing loudly and then pass out. Others would come in and look at the poor fellows and say, "That guy's Bar'd." Over time it got shortened to Bard and here we are.

So, you think it's a shtick, do you? You look at my anti-Bard rhetoric, and you think it's just some kind of obfuscation? That I am layered? That underneath this hatred of Bards lies something totally different than what's on the surface? That I am concealing a jovial tolerance of Bards underneath this harsh exterior?

Well, have you considered that there's a third, even deeper level, and that is the same as the one on the top? Like with pie.

My hatred contains multitudes. I am legion. Snarf ... think of me as the display case at your local diner. Full of pie. Legions of pie.
No, I meant schtick as in your only way to amuse yourself as you talk about D&D. I have no doubt you hate bards (for whatever deep-seated but silly reason you have)... but at some point I just hope you decide to get over your need to harp on it.

Cause I can't speak for anyone else... but I know my retention of a lot of what you say gets thrown off into the ether from the power of my eye rolls every time you make another "I hate bards!" comment. I just mentally put the post and several of your subsequent posts on "Ignore" cause I'm just tired of it all. But I'd rather not do that because I'd like to be able to read ALL of your comments at face value and learn from them and discuss them equitably... but that just isn't possible when so many of them I immediately discount just to skip past the rhetoric.

But you know... it's your thing and I get that. And if you're fine with me checking out on what you're saying more often than not, then so be it. :)

Now, now. We can understand the initial denial, but you'll never get better unless you admit you have a problem.

DM, grant me the serenity to accept the Bards I should not kill, the courage to kill the Bards I can, and the wisdom to know that there are no Bards I should not kill.
