The midwestern "ope", one syllable, to rhyme with "hope", which is sort of a weird, shortened, more nasals "oops", even though it sounds totally different. As opposed to the Greek "opa" (ώπα), two syllables. Though there's some overlap in meaning. "Ope!" is never said in a celebratory context, but "opa!" can also be said as an expression of shock, or having made a mistake.
